The independent laboratory testing of the KERAPURE™ Keratin Restructuring Complex was performed under two different conditions:

This testing method analyzed the salon air by monitoring the vapors released during an actual complete application (including blowdrying and flat ironing) of the KERAPURE™ Keratin Restructuring Complex on a volunteer. The test results confirm that KERAPURE™ Keratin Restructuring Complex complies with the OSHA regulations regarding Formaldehyde vapors. The OSHA regulation action level for Formaldehyde is 0.5 parts per million (ppm) and 0.75 parts per million (ppm) is the highest permissible level. The test results show KERAPURE™ Keratin Restructuring Complex released less than 0.06 parts per million (ppm), (which is below the lowest level that the testing equipment is able to identify) – this is more than 10 times lower than the OSHA action levels.
