Have you ever had a color change after processing, maybe one or two days later? Did it change to something completely different from the look you had achieved when your client left your salon?

Changes of this type generally happen because of two factors: factor one, the color was not sealed in the hair shaft; factor two, the developer was not removed completely from the hair shaft, allowing the color to continue to progress....

What is the solution?

Milk Shake Color Specifics! Three products from this group of tools for the professional colorist, Acid Color Sealer, Color Sealing Shampoo, and Color Sealing Conditioner can solve this problem. How do you use them, and what do they do? First, you rinse the color completely from the hair, then you apply the Acid Color Sealer. This product eliminates what is left of the developer and begins to lower the pH of the hair which has been elevated by the color. You let this process for 3 minutes. Without rinsing the Acid Color Sealer, you apply the Color Sealing Shampoo (a gentle, low pH cleanser). Shampoo the hair and rinse. Remove the excess water from the hair and apply the Color Sealing Conditioner. This product has a pH of only 3.8 which is much lower than the hair's natural level of 4.5 to 5.5. This closes tightly the cuticle of the hair and keeps the color in the hair shaft. It increases shine, as well. Color Specifics color sealing system covers both factors and completes your color process, allowing you optimum results and satisfied clients... long after they leave the salon.
